BNS Brugge, the third City-class mine countermeasure vessel of the Belgian Navy, has been launched in Lorient.
The vessel is the latest addition to the Belgian-Dutch rMCM program, which aims to construct twelve minehunters.
Tournai, the second ship intended for the Belgian Navy and the third in the program, was launched last July, while Oostende, the first vessel meant for the Belgian Navy, was floated out in March 2023.
