A rare and welcome sight today at Rome Ciampino Airport was this Egyptian Air Force Antonov An-74T, seen on short final as it made a brief fuel stop en route to RAF Fairford. The aircraft is set to participate in the Royal International Air Tattoo, one of the major highlights of the show.
The Egyptian Air Force operates three An-74 transport aircraft under the 533rd Air Wing, based on the eastern side of Cairo International Airport.
