Practically just days before the 2025 Malta International Airshow, and assets are continuously being added to the static display, this time the Malta Aviation Society organisers of the Malta International Airshow have just announced that the Italian Police (Polizia di Stato) have once again confirmed their participation on the static display with a Leonardo UH-139 helicopter.
“We are excited to announce that the Polizia di Stato will participate once again in this year’s Malta International Airshow, showcasing their Leonardo UH-139C helicopter on static display!”

The Polizia di Stato operates the Leonardo AW139 helicopter, designated as the UH-139C, with eight helicopters ordered in 2012 and deliveries completed by the end of 2014. These helicopters serve multiple bases across Southern Italy and near Rome, including Bari, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, and Pratica di Mare.
