USAF grounds its F-35A fleet due to ejection seat troubles

Air Combat Command (ACC) of the US Air Force (USAF) has grounded its F-35A Lightning II aircraft while conducting an inspection of the Martin-Baker ejection seat cartridge actuators (CAD).

The ACC grounded its F-35 aircraft on July 29. The fleet was grounded to expedite a 90-day  inspection process that started on July 19.
