It has just been announced that a further addition to the airshow has been added by the Polish Air Force. A C-130E from Poland will be the support aircraft for the F-16 demo team but will also be later, part of the static display.
“We are happy to announce the Polish Air Force have confirmed a Lockheed C-130E to participate in the static display.”
Malta International Airshow
The 14 Air Lift Squadron of the Polish Air Force’s Powidz 33.Baza Lotnictwa Transportowego base operates five C-130E aircraft. Delivered between 2009 and 2012, these will eventually be replaced by more contemporary C-130Hs, making this also a debut for a C-130 from the Polish AF in the Malta International Airshow.
