The second civilian aircraft that joins the long list of static aircraft for this year’s Malta International Airshow is this Reims FR172 Rocket, registered in Germany, D-EMZF.
“We are happy to announce Cessna “T-41 Mescalero” D-EMZF will be appearing on static at the Malta International Airshow 2025. Originally a Reims FR172 Rocket, D-EMZF is painted to represent a T-41 Mescalero, the military trainer version of the Cessna 172 used by the United States Air Force and Army.”

Originally known as Avions Max Holste, Reims Aviation produced modified versions of Cessna aircraft in France. Among these, the FR172 Rocket stands out as a high-performance variant of the legendary Cessna 172, powered by a Rolls-Royce–built 210 hp fuel-injected Continental engine, delivering around 30% more power than standard models.Â
