Nose gear tires burst on landing

NOVOAIR Flight VQ967 operating between Dhaka Hazrat Shajalal International Airport and Saidpur Airport on 17th November burst both nose gear tires while attempting to land as it was believed that the nose gear jammed in an abnormal position.

The aircraft came to a stop on the runway and the airfield remained closed until the aircraft was removed from the runway. All 75 passengers onboard including the crew were not reported injured.

VQ967 flight was operated by ATR-72-500 S2-AHF. S2-AHF was delivered to NOVOAIR in 2016.
