On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, and in the context of the planning of the Hellenic Armed Forces regarding the international cooperation of the Hellenic Armed Forces, an ADEX (Air Defense Exercise) 2 F-4 Fighter Aircraft conducted training with the French Navy Frigate FS LANGUEDOC part of Standing NATO Maritime Group Two – (SNMG 2), southwest of Crete.
During ADEX, air defense and air attack objects were executed from different directions, which contributed to the increase of combat capability and operational readiness, as well as to the upgrading of interoperability and understanding between the participating allied forces.
Another joint training of the Armed Forces has been completed with the achievement of all objectives, which is part of the implementation of the “Guidelines for the Upgrade of Greek-French Military Cooperation” signed by the Chief of the Greek Armed Forces General Konstantinos Floros and the Chief of the French Defense Staff General Thierry Burkhard, during his official visit to GEETHA on January 21, 2022.
