On Sunday 29th June in the early morning hours the Italian Navy Durand de la Penne-class destroyer Nave Francesco Mimbelli entered the Grand Harbour, Valletta.
This could possibly be the last visit of the destroyer as it slated for de-commissioning soon, her sister ship Nave Luigi Durand de la Penne was decomissioned last October.
Nave Mimbelli will be open for the public during its stay in Valletta it is berthed in Pinto Wharf, below you can find the schedule of the opening times;
- Sunday 29th June 1600-1800hrs
- Monday 30th June 1600-1800hrs
- Tuesday 1st July 1000-1200hrs
